Elevated Private Pools
Rising to new heights in Albany, the Bahamas, the Honeycomb is an eight-story luxury residential paradise designed with in-suite private pools and balconies. To furnish every condo with a personal swimming pool, Albany Marina called on our aquatic experience and skilled team at Bradford for 34 unique shaped vessels on sunken balconies.
The Solution
Expert Fabrication & Installation
Rising to the challenge, Bradford fabricated and installed 34 personal pools on all upper seven floors of the Albany Marina Honeycomb Residences. Extending from sunken balconies, each vessel is supported by the partition wall of the two units below. This divider wall always coincides with the deepest part of the vessel for maximum support and stability.
The Solution
Expert Fabrication & Installation
Elegantly designed to vanish into the architecture, the acrylic face of each pool spans the entire length of the balcony creating unbroken views of the marina from inside the unit. With a total of four design shapes, every in-suite pool was pre-fabricated at Bradford, shipped to the Bahamas, craned into place, water tested, and tiled onsite. To further elevate the experience, we designed in bench seating and soothing hydrotherapy jets, along with interior lighting to illuminate at night.
